Seadom has been manufacturing seaweed extract in Qingdao for more than 35 years. The raw material is Ascophyllum nodosum harvested in Quebec, and the extraction is enzymatic hydrolysis — a low-temperature process that keeps the alginic acid, mannitol and natural hormone fractions intact rather than degrading them with heat or aggressive chemistry.
Capacity runs at 3,000–5,000 tonnes a year across five product families: seaweed extract in flake, powder, granule and liquid form; seaweed polysaccharide; fulvic acid, fish protein and amino acids; potassium fulvate; and fortified variants built for micronutrient, protein or pre-harvest work. Twenty grades are catalogued, and a grade can be adjusted to a buyer’s declared specification where the volume justifies it.
Most of what we ship goes to distributors, formulators and grower groups in more than 40 countries, with the largest volumes in Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Europe and the Middle East. Each shipment carries a batch certificate of analysis; an MSDS and an OMRI certificate covering the listed grades are available on request.
If you are sourcing for the first time, the product range explains how the families divide, and the active ingredients guide explains what each fraction does inside the plant.
